I participated in a an Open Competitive New York City practical and written machinist test along with 1,800 other first class machinist from around the country and I finished first. I am a retired high school machine shop teacher and golf coach. Some of my golf students became professional golfers, many became good golfers and very successful in life. My Machine Shop Students finished first for thirteen consecutive years in the New York City Wide Machine Shop Competition. As a weekend golfer, I had ten holes in one, won over a hundred trophies and still counting.

I designed many successful putters and worked as a consultant for golf companies including The Callaway Golf Company. I introduced the mallet head putters with their alignment aids of today to the golf world.
